Corey VanderMeer

Corey is the founder of Navisure Insurance Group in Grand Rapids. Prior to opening his agency, he worked various positions within the insurance industry.
Corey began his work with Healthy Homes by volunteering on the development committee and has since joined the board.
Corey lives in Grand Rapids with his wife and two children. In his free time he enjoys cooking, spending time with family and fly fishing.
Frank Coronado
Secretary
Frank Coronado has been a community activist in the West Michigan Community for over 20 years which started when employed by Davenport University. Frank is one of the Cofounders of the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and was the board chair for Latin Americans United for Progress for eight years in the Holland Community. Frank is a community servant, has served in various boards and is currently the Secretary of the Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan Board of Directors.
Andrew Lebron
Vice President of Treasury Management/Public Funds, West Michigan Community Bank
Andrew Lebron serves as Board Treasurer for Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan and brings over 18 years of banking experience. He has worked in the banking industry since 2007, specializing in cash flow optimization, internal controls, and fraud prevention for businesses, nonprofits, and governmental organizations. He holds the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation and oversees treasury management sales and consulting for West Michigan Community Bank. He earned degrees from Western Michigan University and Michigan State University and resides in Lowell with his family. Andrew strongly values community-based nonprofits and is committed to supporting Healthy Homes Coalition’s vision of eliminating environmental hazards’ threat to West Michigan’s children.
Eddie T.L. Tadlock
Board Member
Assistant General Manager, Legends Global
Eddie is an entrepreneurial executive with over 30 years of comprehensive facility management experience in operating stadiums, arenas, theaters, and convention facilities. Eddie is the curator in residence for ArtPrize at Legends Global Venues in Grand Rapids. He is involved with many non-profit and cultural organizations, including the Grand Rapids Art Museum, The American Red Cross, Grand Rapids Community Foundation, and the West Michigan Jazz Society. He currently serves on several boards to include, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, Boy Scouts of America, President Ford Council, Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. Advisory Board, City of Grand Rapids Ad Hoc Art Advisory Board. Eddie is a self-described jazz junky, orchid-lover, art collector, Certified Tourism Ambassador, and bibliophile.
Krisann Ladner

Founder | Lead Graphic Designer of k. a. dzign, LLC.
KrisAnn is a graduate of Kendal College of Art and Design. She spent 25 years working as a senior graphic designer for different companies before founding her own company, k. a. dzign, LLC.
Outside of work, she enjoys painting, shopping, and relaxing on her pontoon boat with her husband.
Troy VanderMeer

Co-Founder | Vice President, Navisure Insurance Group
Troy is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Navisure Insurance Group. He is deeply committed to the West Michigan community and serves as an active volunteer and leader for several local organizations.
Beyond his involvement with Healthy Homes, Troy is a member of the D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s Emerging Leaders Council and the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Council. He also enjoys coaching high school soccer at Forest Hills Eastern. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Jameela Maun
Executive Director (she/her)
Jameela is passionate about serving families and communities and is a strong advocate for safe and affordable housing. She is dedicated to advancing the core mission and values of Healthy Homes Coalition to ensure all children grow up in healthy homes that are free from environmental hazards.
Jameela is devoted to her family, serving others, advocating for social justice, and being an agent for change. She and her husband, Don, have four children: Kieryngton, Kingston, Maeleigh, and Maverick. They love going to the beach, playing games, and listening to music. When Jameela is not spending time with her family, she enjoys reading, shopping, and being an important member of the Beyoncé Beyhive!
Alexandria Hamilton
Office Administrator (she/her)
Alexandria is passionate about nonprofits and dedicated to serving her community. She is committed to connecting individuals with essential resources and opportunities to foster positive change. Her goal is to make meaningful impact through collaboration and community service.
Outside of work, Alexandria loves spending time outdoors with her family and friends, especially trips to the beach during the summertime. She also enjoys exploring various events and actives throughout the city.
Allisa Murphy
Healthy Housing Specialist (she/her)
Allisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Cornerstone University. Prior to joining Healthy Homes, she worked in the mental health field supporting girls who have experienced trafficking. Allisa’s goal is to help families feel comfortable and confident seeking education and resources to create safer home environments. She is deeply committed to educating and encouraging communities about environmental safety.
In her free time, Allisa enjoys singing, playing the guitar, reading, and walking her dog. She can often be found relaxing with a movie, a snack, her dog, and friends.
DANA HULST
Program Manager (they/she)
Dana has their bachelor’s in Psychology and Recreational Therapy. Prior to joining Healthy Homes, they spent 5 years working in disability services, providing case management, therapy, and support to kids and families. Dana is passionate about person-centered care and equity and inclusion work.
Outside of work, Dana enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, playing most any sport, and hiking & biking Michigan trails.
Jocelyn Coria
Lead Hazard Control Program Healthy Housing Specialist (she/her/ella)
Jocelyn has her Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Organization and Community Leadership from Michigan State University. Prior to joining Healthy Homes, Jocelyn spent 4 years as the Kent School Services Community School Coordinator at Lee High School. In that role, she connected students and their families to various community resources and building community partnerships for the school. She’s passionate about embedding equity and a human-centered approach to her work.
Outside of work, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking outside, trying food from different cultures, and attending events happening in downtown Grand Rapids.
Joseph NGUYen
Healthy Housing Specialist (he/him)
Joseph has his Master’s degree in Public Health from Grand Valley State University. He has experience serving in the community mental health setting and is committed to providing education and promoting better health outcomes for families in the community.
Joseph’s hobbies include playing videogames, and watching movies and anime with friends. Relating to others shared interests over these medias and geeking out together is always a great bonding moment!
NICOLE Harrell
Bookkeeper (she/her)
Nicole has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Sustainable Business from Aquinas College. Her background includes work in both for-profit and nonprofit construction, real estate and property management.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, thrifting, and spending time with family.
Samika Douglas
Community Organizer (she/her)
Samika joined the Healthy Homes team in January of 2024 as the Community Organizer, but she is not new to the organization. From 2018 to 2021, Samika was a Parent/Community Advocate for Parents for Healthy Homes where she led community resource planning to support families of children with lead poisoning. Samika holds an Associate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Muskegon Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University.
Samika brings over 20 years of professional advocacy and civic engagement experience from the public and private sectors. In her spare time, she serves as the voice for the community on numerous councils, committees, and boards.
Santiago Alvarado
Third Ward Lead Reduction Initiative Community Educator (he/him)
At Healthy Homes, and with help from community partners, Santiago distributes lead-reducing water filters to residents of the third ward as part of the Third Ward’s Lead Reduction Initiative program. Prior to joining the Healthy Homes team, Santiago worked in Refugee Resettlement, where he discovered his passions for empowering people through advocacy, helping build communities, and connecting people to critical resources and education. Santiago has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan. In his spare time, Santiago enjoys testing his bravery with his hobbies of rock climbing, reading horror stories, and casual conversation.
